Objectives
The project’s goal is to find, share, and use successful examples of transitioning from sheltered employment to regular jobs in Europe.
Organizers collected innovative examples of vocational training, guidance, and transitions, and evaluate them to see what can be applied elsewhere.
These examples were used to develop a new counseling method called the Include³-method. This method helps counselors in sheltered workshops align the needs of people with cognitive impairments and the job market.
The method is written down in a curriculum and tested in sheltered workshops. All the project’s findings are freely available on the Include³ website.
The aim of the project is to identify, disseminate and implement good practice on transitions from sheltered employment to the primary labor market in Europe. Innovative practical examples in the fields of vocational training, vocational guidance and transitions from sheltered employment to the primary labor market are collected and subsequently evaluated with regard to transferable aspects. They served as the basis for a new counseling method.
The Include³-method enables counselors who are employed in sheltered workshops or work closely with sheltered workshops to match needs of people with cognitive impairments and needs of the labor market. The method is written down in a curriculum and piloted in sheltered workshops. All project results are available free of charge on the Include³ website.
